i have a female king snake and she will not eat mice or rat pinkies and we have been feeding her lizards from outside and she eats those but we cant find anymore cuz they arent out in the winter and i dont know what to feed herWhat can i feed my king snake other than mice pinkies she wont eat them at all?
see if you can buy a small lizard like a green anole and rub the pinky mouse on the lizard to get the scent on the mouse. It should get the snake going on pinkies.What can i feed my king snake other than mice pinkies she wont eat them at all?
Thats a good idea about ';rubbing'; the scent....
another idea would be to rub a gerbil or a hamster on a mouse or rat and sometimes that encourages snakes to eat.......
I know it sounds funny but ask any reptile expert or do some research and you will find that that works...
