Whats the best thing to feed my mice?

what should i get thats best for my mice to eat? Whats the best thing to feed my mice?
Remember that mice are gnawers, they should be eating things they need to gnaw at! For a balanced diet try pet store mixes with maybe a bit more added seeds or if you are going to make your own look at this;

Carbohydrates (whole oats, hay, stale bread), Vegetables (lettuce, carrots, peas, etc), and Protein (such as dog biscuits).

My mice used to love treats! try things like fresh veggies they have never seen before, sunflower seeds, yogurt/jam (small portion! this treat should be a rare one!) and even cat dry food (again, rare treat).

Feed them once a day in a dish that they wont be able to flip over, i used to use a ceramic one as they wont be able to gnaw through it either like the plastic pet store ones.

Some other good gnawing things are hard nuts, such as acorns and walnuts and also flavored wood sticks from pet stores or even wooden toys. I used to give my mice cuttlefish bone as well and they seemed to like that! Just look at what mice eat in the while, then spoil yours a little and you'll be just fine!Whats the best thing to feed my mice?
mouse, rat, and gerbil food... make sure to get a salt lick ring (found at pet shop, really small... and something wooden for them to gnaw on to help their teeth.

But for treats you can use dog biscuits and peanut butter. They love it. And once in a while some veggies, like peas, kernel corn, small corn cobs....

(Mix sunflower seeds in their usual food if it's not already in there. It's their favorite seed.)
