If it's albino or anything other than brown or black, it will probably be killed quickly by a predator.
The other thing to worry about is that captive-raised animals, when released into the wild, can (in extreme cases) cause plagues of disease among wild animals that have never been exposed to certain viruses and bacteria.
That's not likely though. Most likely she just dies. If you aren't sure if she's definitely outdoors, you could try leaving some no-kill traps around with cheese and pepperoni (they sell them at lots of hardware stores). Good luck catching her.Can pet mice be let out to the wild?
umm i suppose that she could thrive in the wild if not cought by predatores and if she can find a good food source. and if she can find a nice little shelter to sleep in.
It all depends on the type of the mouse, it also depends on age and natural instinks. The mouse should be fine. They'll go find a nice tree or something to hide in.

awwwww i would put out some humane mouse traps near where she escaped. if she knows how to hunt and hide she will be fine but if she cant figure out those 2 things she may not last very long.

I don't want to sound mean but the chances that she'll live a couple years is low, she might last a few months. This is because she isn't used to having to fend for herself and she isn't used to running away from predators or finding her own ';wild'; shelter, or food. I'm sorry for you loss. But hey, she might beat the odds and live a few years. I wish her luck.
I think that it might be able live for a few days and I don't think they should be able to go out in the wild so I don't know.
