Do white mice attract other mice?

I live in Harlem and I want 2 white mice as pet, will they attract other [unwanted] mice to my house?

I mean it is Harlem so there are mice running around the streets.Do white mice attract other mice?
No, you can have your two pet mice without attracting others, for several reasons:

First of all, a domestic mouse(one that is kept in a cage and bought from a pet store) is quite different from a field mouse or baby rat, which is probably what you've been seeing around your house in Harlem.

Second, mice and rats that are wild(ie, NOT the pet store kind) and are found living in or near homes, are usually attracted by garbage, an easy food source for them, and warmth in the winter.

To keep those unwanted OTHER mice away, just keep your home clean and uncluttered, and take out the garbage regularly. Make sure that your neighbors do the same, or their unwanted mice will become yours(their wild mice will come over to your house because it's close by, esp. in an apartment bldg.)

If unwanted mice either are a problem or become one, plug up any holes you have in the baseboards and basement areas with steel wool. Mice and rats are rodents, and their teeth are always growing. This means they must constantly gnaw wood to file down their teeth(make sure to get your pets something to chew on like special wooden chew-sticks they have at the pet store). If you plug holes with steel wool, the unwanted mice cannot chew their way in.

Good luck with your new pets!Do white mice attract other mice?
I heard White Mice keep other colored mice away
Why not just catch two of the locals and dye them white? :)
Sometimes, if they are mating or good friends. But they don't attrack if they are enemies.
Probably not, but if you already have them, they might investigate the pet mice.
