Rumor has it that scented dryer sheets repel mice. Is this true?

it takes more than that to repel mice. having a cat will help a lot!!
This is true!!!! Just so long as they are strong and new. Mice tend to be very receptive to smells and try to avoid humans as much as possible. So if it smells like a human, they won't want to go there. Give it a try. Worked for me in our old house that was infested and we didn't now it till we moved in. Just be sure to replace them every couple of weeks.
Haven't heard that one. I live in the country. We fill all our cracks with steel wool. (They hate the feel on their teeth) It has really kept them out of our cabinets. We also use a powdered fox urine around the house(outside) to repel them from even trying to come in. You will have to re-apply after a heavy rain. Check your local feed store or order on-line. I've heard peppermint oil works, but haven't tried it myself.
Not that I know of but they will remove pet hairs on furniture
