-George and Lenny (';gentle giant';) are two friends who travel together to find work.

-Lenny is mentally ill and has a tendency to pet soft objects.

-Lenny strokes this girl's hair, but when she protests he tries to silence her, breaking her neck (killing her).

-George eventually shoots and kills Lenny out of mercy.

The book teaches a lesson about the nature of human existence and shows how grim and isolated people are without much hope. What is a short 2-3 sentence summary of ';Of Mice And Men'; by John Steinbeck?
';Of Mice and Men'; is a novel by John Steinbeck, it is the story of two men who travel to find work. Historically, this book is about the history of California. um. here's what i wrote.

For my project I chose to create a five frame comic strip. The scene that I chose to depict in my comic was the last scene when Lennie accidentally kills Curley’s wife, and runs to hide in the brush. I thought this scene was very important because it is foreshadowing an end to Lennie. The things he is closest to and that he loves dearly are what he hallucinates before he dies. First, he sees his aunt Clara. She is bitter with him and is scolding him for being a fool, and ruining everything all the time for George. Even after George has done so much for him and cares for him although he does not have to. Then, a giant rabbit “comes out of Lennies head”, and tells him that George will probably beat him and abandon him. I think this is a very important scene because the two most important things in his life are reprimanding him, which is a way of them telling Lennie that it is all over. That he has already made too many mistakes and his chances are up. Another important thing about this scene is that the hallucinations are speaking in Lennies voice. This shows that Lennie is telling himself what he has done wrong and what is going to happen to him. He knows subconsciously what is going to happen to him, but consciously he is completely oblivious.
