In the desert, hawks hunt for mice. Which color mouse would you consider to be the best adapted for life in the sandy desert: a light- colored mouse or a dark-colored mouse? Explain your answer. In the desert, hawks hunt for mice. Which color mouse would you consider to be the best adapted for life....?
Well in the desert most animals are nocturnal so I don't think it so important, a medium colour is the most common colour sported by animals, non-reflecting on moon light. to be honest most small rodents prefer the night rather than day.

The most important thing is that light is not reflected absorbing any natural light from the moon as to even blend in its silhouette.

But remember the first point due to activity is normally confined to the night, that is main factor that governs its colour. In the desert, hawks hunt for mice. Which color mouse would you consider to be the best adapted for life....?
The best adapted for life in the sandy desert would certainly be the light-colored mouse because the darker coated would be more noticeable by the hawks as the mouse runs along the light colored sand. Also, the light colored coat would reflect more heat from the sun while the dark-colored mouse would absorb more. In the blasting heat of the days, the light colored mouse would be better off.

Consider the ';Also'; statement before adding it into your answer.
im gonna give it to you short and sweet ~ the light one because it would blend in better with the sand
