Is it okay to switch my pet mice's houses?

If I have two different houses for my mouse cage, is it okay to switch them every now and again? Or will it confuse the mice or something? Is it okay to switch my pet mice's houses?
I would suggest switching the house when you change their pen. It is actually good to change their pen up now and then. Mice are very intelligent and get bored quickly, so change is good.

If you have lots of toys in their pen, take all but about two out. (Always leave a wheel though.) You should switch the toys out every 3-5 days to stimulate them mentally. Here's a good toy that they may like: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js鈥?/a> Any kind of maze or puzzle will be an excellent toy for a mouse.

Also, there are great homemade toy site out there:

Good luck and have fun with your mice!Is it okay to switch my pet mice's houses?
It should be perfectly fine to switch the houses out of your mice cage! As long as they are good and clean and free of any toxins and such. I'm sure your mice will be thrilled and will love to chew on the new home! Personally I like to change up my rats' hideaways quite frequently so that they don't get bored. =) Sometimes a change of scenery is a great thing!
Mice are not smart enough to get confused. You can switch their houses anytime you want. The only exception if there are babies.
