Of Mice and Men - Comparison of Lennie to an animal?

I'm supposed to compare Lennie from Of Mice and Men to animals and explain what it shows about him. Like how the animals are relevant to his character.

Lennie is a lot like an animal in that he is very innocent - i other words, complicated human feelings are lost on him. his intelligence is somewhat limited. complex scenarios are lost on him. he is also more or less a guiltless victim of his own strength. he does what comes naturally, with all kinds of good intentions, and it ends up destroying the creatures he likes so much... lennie kills but he is not a killer. it's beyond his control. it's also an interesting paralel that he kills accidentally, out of love for soft things. and he is going to be killed out of love also. he dies like one of his animals. his friend, who knows this time he will be jailed and possibly executed for something he's strictly speaking, not to blame for, puts an end to what would have been a hopeless, miserable, haunted life. the difference here being that his friend does it deliberately, because he can't see another way out.Of Mice and Men - Comparison of Lennie to an animal?
lennie is the Mouse or in the books case an inferior character to george who happens to be the man.
Lennie's hands are characterized as that of a big animal
